2016 Lone Kauri Chardonnay - South Island - 12 bottles delivered

Vintage 2016 was lovely in Gisborne, where the grapes for this wine were mainly sourced. We were able to pick clean fruit with good sugar levels. Our 2016 wine was tank fermented using yeast strains that were selected for their ability to amplify Gisborne Chardonnay’s vibrant fruit character. Post ferment the wine was left in tank on its yeast lees to gain complexity and richness.
